The Boat Cruise

Friday evening I went out fishing and caught a 5.5 pound bass. I noticed he was blind in one eye but he must have seen my spinner bait. Yes, of course I caught him in the 4-pole area.




Saturday I decided to take a boat cruise to Goose Pond with the dogs and stay overnight on the boat. It was kind of a test to see how I can deal with TWO dogs on the boat. As we were heading up river I saw a building on fire at a pretty far distance. I zoomed in and took a photo while the boat was moving. It came out fairly clear.

Now it's bed time.








The dogs did pretty good on the boat, especially Max as it was his first time. Getting them on and off the boat was a real trick but we managed. I decided if I ever take a long 10 day cruise I may transport the dogs by car first!

    That bass looks pretty good size! Shaun is supposed to go fishing with his Dad tomorrow. That fire looked pretty bad, there was one down the road from us a couple weeks ago. That picture with the dogs laying down on the boat is soooo cute! Seems like they are much better friends now!

    Hi Dad! I love the pics of the pups, they look so cute together. My favorite one is the one of the two of them on the boat with their life vests looking out at the water. Glad to see that your fishing and catching!
