BRRRRRRR....

It's been very cold this last week and temperatures have been below freezing for the last three days. My lowest temperature was 13.6 degrees. There was some snow but not very much. The biggest problem has been black ice on the roads. Many roads have been shut down including a major Interstate in Huntsville (I-565). They probably won't reopen until warmer weather which is supposed to move in the first of the week. This has been very unusual weather for this area but I guess it is everywhere. There was even snow reported in Orlando, FL.

This is the big weekend for Brynne to move to Birmingham. I'm sure she will update her blog when she gets setup so I won't say much about it here.

According to her manager, she is the youngest (24 years old) General Manager out of 300 World Market stores. We should all be very proud of her achievement.

Below are some photos around the docks and the ice on the water. Lights Out is docked in deeper water so there was no ice out there. These photos are in shallower water.

Ice below my Bass boat.

Ice at My Pontoon boat

It's iced in but not enough to hurt her!

  3. Boy, that looks chilly! It's funny that you mentioned the snow in Orlando. Tampa got some too and even Miami supposedly had a flurry. Tallahassee didn't get flake though. Go figure.

I'm very proud of Brynne too!
